AIR LOOP 1.0 will be presented as live performance combining sound and visual. The project is launched by AIR GYM a video-loop realized in 2007 from Marco Monfardini by using original films from the 40’ies. A gymnastic movement totally extracted in air and a minimal sound composition which circle and repeat endlessly. Absence of human evolution and time that is passing will lead and conserved in an endless loop. Amelie Duchow and Marco Monfardini’s live act intervenes on the sound of the performance by alternating on the console. During the set the sound loop remains muted and is developing in a strong growing sound pattern which is determined from the personal and common interpretation of the two artists.
